Jenny

I strive to be constantly immersed in all the beauty nature has to offer. Good food, great wine, lots of laughter, fancy invitations, time in the water and on the road - I can't ask for more than that.

We’re planning our next retreat - where should we go? In the last few years we tackled Iceland, Belize and Italy as a family - Miles is pining for Sicily - but with all the beautiful possibilities - it’s hard to commit. #worldtravelers #travelingfamily #goexplore #communewithnature
Another before and after / design challenge. This master suite is unusually large - the former owners used it as a home office/bedroom but it lacked any za za zu. We opted to create a second living space/bedroom. There are windows everywhere (not pictured) so the icy blue creates a soft, serene environment with the abundance of natural light. It feels Scandinavian and sophisticated - with little pops of personality. 📷: @jeffrobertsimaging #interiordesign #whiteoakfloors #scandinaviandesign #lightandbright

A little before and after on this chilly Sunday. This is actually my kitchen and one of the largest deterrents when considering the property was how open the floor plan was - it’s scary open - like more space than I felt comfortable with. But there are a TON of windows and I knew that a dark color would scale down the space without ever appearing too dark with all the natural light. This blue performs remarkably on sunny days and frames each room in the house beautifully. While the trend towards white everything continues to grow - I can’t help but love how a dark color brings a special kind of warmth to a project - it’s also a wonderful backdrop for natural wood and textural elements. #interiordesign #custommillwork #yestomore #thisismypolishedlook #drawitbuildit
Good man, he went to a flower shop with an in house designer to create the most spectacular flower arrangement for our anniversary. ❤️🔥😍

The most beautiful tile selections for clients #lakesideisthebestside with the help of Katie at @oldportspecialtytileco - today we made what felt like a zillion decisions and they were all incredible. Can’t wait to show you all!! #interiordesign #lovewhatyoudo #lakesideliving #ilovetile #seasonaldecor
It’s like Christmas over here!!! Making reclaimed selections @rousseaureclaimed for my #lakesideisthebestside project - the trick with sticking to one species is using different cuts and varying the finishes. #interiordesign #reclaimedwood #gettingitdone #designbuild #interiorarchitecture
Today was sample day in preparation for a client visit next week. We made samples for ceiling, floor, wall and exterior materials. We also tried like 5 different stains out and thought about finished millwork colors. It’s a lot but @kelsiebouchard was a good sport about it (especially considering I was in a shit mood this afternoon) #gettingitdone #clientvisitsarefun #mainehouse #custom #interiordesign
Sketching and planning for a project happening late this year. I love when clients retain me early enough that I can provide architectural solutions that have a lasting impact on design. #designbuild #interiordesign #interiorarchitecture #gettheteamtogetherearly
Yes yes yes to progress on project #lakesideisthebestside - it’s always amazing to see spaces come to life after months of looking at them on paper! We are coming full circle on design with lots of exciting things to share soon! #interiordesign #startearly #bestviewsaround #seasonaldecor
#truth - I’ve been trying to push off my radical realism and be more creative/hopeful. Verdicts still out on that. BUT one thing I can confirm - I’m no longer making excuses for my love of white and black. While my clients are often the most afraid of these colors - my love for neutrals is infinite. #whitepaintforever #highcontrast #leanintoit #iloveneutrals
