On the hunt for collaborations and/or contributors.

So a few months ago I celebrated my one year blogging anniversary. Since then, I have made some really wonderful relationships with chefs, restaurants, local and non local small batch purveyors as well as really interesting folks working with nature. I have been seemingly well received by the blogging community, feeling a real sense of support, especially from some really nice people in England. Go figure. This completely elates me, as England is one of my favorite spots in the world, even though I have never been there, but believe me, it’s on my list. Lately, I have really immersed myself in improving the photography of this site and have worked hard at providing really fantastic recipes for my readers with a little bit of insight. But, I also work for a living and take care of two small children, along with having chickens, bees, a household to run, etc. So, if I want to take things to the next level, I figure it’s time to see if I can form a bit of a “team.” Ideally, we would all work together (these wonderfully creative people I am imaging), break down the food and running world, quit our day jobs and become the Buddha’s of food and lifestyle advice. Are these incredibly lofty goals???? But realistically, I think it starts with finding people who feel the passion I do for running, food and buying local, then taking it to the world to see how far we can go. I have thought about approaching fellow bloggers to merge two really strong ideas, take two successful blogs and make one mega blog, but that could get complicated. It makes sense just to find people I can trust and want to work with to really make this a place where people want to come on a regular basis. Build it up together. Make it something really unique and special. On a completely equal playing ground of course.

So, if you have the passion, know how, good writing skills and feel strongly about all the things listed above, send me an e-mail, let’s see what we can do together: Jennyputthatinmyface@gmail.com Again, this is not a paying gig. The best I get is some free stuff occasionally from people I have made connections with and would like me to review their product. (which again, is not why I do this) This is all about pleasure, enhancing the human spirit and leaving an impression on those who come across this site.

Looking forward to hearing from all of you out there!

xoxo, Jenny

  1. Um, I would *LOVE* an odd trans-Atlantic contributor. You are my favorite kind of people! I love your writing style, I find it really similar to mine. Let’s chat via e-mail and figure out how to make it happen. We could even perhaps do regular guest posts on one another’s blogs. So many ideas……

      1. Ha ha ha ha freagin’ WordPress! I’m still trying to figure this business out and I consider myself a pretty capable human being. Yes! I would love to chat about ideas, you and I write in a similar fashion, I think it would be great. Even if its just a nice guest post on a regular basis. 🙂
